Monaco has always been the most curated week in the calendar, and this year the curation went further. Several of the largest displays moved to appointment-only viewing, trading footfall for genuine buyer time.
The technical conversation shifted too. Hybrid-electric propulsion and methanol-ready designs moved from concept boards to delivered hulls, and crew are now being asked technical questions on the quay that would have gone to a shipyard rep two seasons ago.

The quay still rewards the same fundamentals — presentation, discretion, and warmth — but the bar for substance behind the smile has risen noticeably.
